This study aims to explore the potential of personal health data in empowering individuals to assess their health, specifically focusing on heart health. Given that heart disease persists as the leading cause of death in the United States, understanding how lifestyle and medical management can prevent such outcomes is of paramount importance.
Our research seeks to determine whether access to individual lab tests and medical history from healthcare providers provides sufficient data to generate heart health recommendations aligned with the guidelines set forth by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association for primary prevention of heart disease.
